Knoxville TN

We are just getting home from Knoxville Tennessee where we were vendors at the American Quilt Society show that is normally held in Nashville. We had a great time visiting with friends and meeting lots of new ones!

I found a new vendor and we are so excited. They carry felted wool balls, flower parts and shapes. Just look at the cute projects! I have all sorts of ideas in my head for some new patterns to use them. We will have them at the upcoming show in Lowell so stop by our booth!

Here is a corner shot of the booth. The quilt is on loan from a friend at a shop in PA called The Quilter's Palette. It was designed by the shop owner and we are thrilled to have the pattern for it! The "S" blocks are wool applique on the cotton background. It was a hit in Knoxville as well.

Thanks to Merle pointing the way to our booth, our hand dyed wool flew off the shelf as well. I will be up to my elbow's in dye pots for a few days!

And a few days is all we have before we are on the road again. Stay tuned for more news from Merle and all of us here at As A Crow Flies!
